Who and What Qualifies
Two things have to be true. The vehicle has to be old enough, and it has to be close to original.

Two Plate Options
Arkansas offers two different plates for eligible vehicles, and they work differently.
State-Issued Historic Plate

How to Register

- Duplication. If the number matches or could be confused with a plate currently in circulation, it’s rejected.
- Administrative feasibility. The Office considers whether tracking the plate creates excessive administrative burden or cost.

How You Can Use the Vehicle

Factory seatbelts, headlights, and turn signals need to stay in working order.
