The Atlanta Community Food Bank group volunteer form is the online request at acfb.org/group-volunteer-form that you use to schedule a warehouse shift for a party of 8 to 60 people.1Atlanta Community Food Bank. Group Volunteer Form Submitting it starts the process; a coordinator follows up within two to three business days to confirm a date and send a registration link your members use to sign up individually.
Who Qualifies as a Group
You need at least eight people to use this form. Smaller parties should register through the Individual Volunteers tab on the food bank’s volunteer page instead.1Atlanta Community Food Bank. Group Volunteer Form The ceiling is 60 volunteers per shift. Corporate teams, faith-based organizations, school clubs, and neighborhood groups all qualify, and there is no restriction on the type of organization.
Every volunteer has to be at least eight years old.1Atlanta Community Food Bank. What the Form Asks For
The form takes a few minutes. Have this ready before you start:1Atlanta Community Food Bank. Group Volunteer Form

- Organization or group name, in its formal form.
- Group age range: all adults, all youth, or a combination.
- Number of volunteers, from 8 to 60. Count chaperones in the total if you are bringing youth.
- Scheduling flexibility. You pick either a specific request or flexible; choosing specific opens the date fields.
- Preferred dates: a required first choice and an optional second choice.
- Volunteer project request. Options are the Hunger Action Center morning shift (8:30 AM to 11:30 AM), the Hunger Action Center afternoon shift (1:30 PM to 4:30 PM), the Community Food Center at Stone Mountain, Marietta, or Jonesboro, or Other.
- Additional information, a free-text field for anything the coordinator should know, such as accessibility needs or the purpose of your visit.

After You Submit
A volunteer coordinator will contact you within two to three business days to begin scheduling.1Atlanta Community Food Bank. Group Volunteer Form Sending the form does not lock in your date. Your group is confirmed only after a staff member replies with a confirmation email and a personalized registration page. That page is how each member of your group formally signs up for the shift.
Every participant has to complete a waiver before volunteering. The food bank’s youth waiver, for example, covers assumption of risk and grants permission to use photos and video taken during the shift.3Atlanta Community Food Bank. Atlanta Community Food Bank Youth Liability Waiver Form Adults complete their own version. No one steps onto the warehouse floor without a signed waiver, so push the registration link out to your group early and chase down stragglers. An incomplete waiver count will shrink your headcount on shift day.
What to Wear and Where to Go
The warehouse requires closed-toe, closed-heel shoes. Sneakers and work boots are fine; flip-flops, Crocs, sandals, and heels are not. Wear comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dusty, and bring a sweatshirt or light jacket, since some tasks involve sorting refrigerated product in cool storage areas.4Atlanta RIMS. Hunger Action Center shifts run three hours. Expect to be on your feet most of that time, sorting, repacking, and moving boxes. The work is physical but manageable for most people, including children as young as eight with adult supervision. The main warehouse is at 3400 North Desert Drive, Atlanta, GA 30344. From I-285, take Exit 2 onto Camp Creek Parkway toward the airport, turn left onto North Desert Drive, and follow it about half a mile to the four-way stop at Red Wine Road. Continue straight through, then turn right toward the main entrance.5Atlanta Community Food Bank. Contact Us
