The Autauga County court docket for Circuit and District Court cases is searchable online through AlaCourt ACCESS V2.0, the Alabama Administrative Office of Courts’ statewide paid portal. Searches cost $9.99 each, whether or not they return a result. Probate matters are kept on a separate system, and the Circuit Clerk’s office in Prattville can pull records directly if you’d rather skip the portal.
Searching AlaCourt and What It Costs
AlaCourt ACCESS V2.0 is the only official online tool for Autauga County trial court dockets. You’ll need to create an account before you can run a search. The portal lets you search by party name, case number, or attorney name, and you can narrow results by case type, filing date range, and court location. To keep results limited to Autauga, select the county in the court location field.1Alacourt.com. Alacourt ACCESS V2.0
A name search or case number search costs $9.99 and includes the details on one case. If a name search returns multiple matches, each additional case you open is another $9.99. A search that comes back empty still costs $9.99.1Alacourt.com. Making a Search Worth the Fee
Since every search is billable, precision matters. If you have the case number, use it. A case number search pulls up exactly one record for one $9.99 charge, with no risk of a wasted query.
Searching by name is riskier. Common names can return long result lists, and each case you open is a separate $9.99. Before running the search, select a case type filter such as circuit civil, domestic relations, criminal, traffic, or small claims. You can also enter a partial name and refine by the person’s role in the case, such as plaintiff, defendant, or attorney. Set the court location to Autauga County unless you specifically want statewide results.
Once you’ve opened a case, the docket entry shows the chronological history of filings, orders, and scheduled hearings. For hearings set to proceed by video, the meeting link usually goes to the parties by email or through AlaCourt rather than appearing on the public docket.
Which Autauga County Court Holds Your Case

Records That Won’t Appear on the Docket
Several categories of Alabama court records are confidential and will not show up in an AlaCourt search, so an empty or sparse result doesn’t always mean nothing exists.
Juvenile court records are the broadest exclusion. Everything connected to a juvenile proceeding is strictly confidential and filed separately, including petitions, orders, probation records, medical and psychological records, education records, and any demographic information identifying the child or family.7Alabama Legislature. Under Alabama’s Rules of Court-Record Privacy and Confidentiality, which took effect January 1, 2025, sensitive details are also redacted from otherwise public filings. Protected items include Social Security and tax ID numbers, financial and medical account numbers, the names of minor crime victims, and the home addresses of plaintiffs in domestic violence protection cases. Entire case files can be sealed in limited circumstances, including trade secret disputes, adoption and other private family matters, and cases where public access would create a serious risk of harassment or harm.
