Florida’s 10th Congressional District covers much of Orlando and Orange County, along with a slice of Seminole County to the north, and is represented in the U.S. House by Democrat Maxwell Frost. The seat next appears on the ballot in November 2026.1Congress.gov. Maxwell Frost
Where the District Is
The 10th sits in the heart of central Florida across two counties. The bulk of its land and population is in Orange County, centered on Orlando. It also reaches into Seminole County along the northern and northeastern edges.
On the Orange County side, the district takes in a large share of Orlando itself plus Apopka, Ocoee, Winter Park, Maitland, Eatonville, Windermere, Belle Isle, Edgewood, Pine Hills, and Doctor Phillips. In Seminole County, it includes Casselberry, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Winter Springs, Lake Mary, Oviedo, and Fern Park, among others.2U.S. Census Bureau. Who Represents You
Maxwell Frost has held the seat since January 2023. He was first elected in 2022 and became the first member of Generation Z to serve in Congress.1Congress.gov. In the 119th Congress, Frost sits on two committees. On the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform he is the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs and also serves on the Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Federal Workforce. Voting in the 10th District
The next elections for this seat fall in 2026. Florida’s primary is scheduled for August 18, 2026, and the general election is November 3, 2026. Florida runs a closed primary, so you have to be registered with a party to vote in that party’s primary.7Florida Department of State. Election Dates

A Quick Look at the District
The 10th is among the most diverse districts in Florida. Census Bureau figures put the population at roughly 769,000 with a median household income of about $72,000, and around 37 percent of residents hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.9U.S. Census Bureau. How the Boundaries Get Drawn
District lines follow the census. Every ten years the national count determines how many House seats each state receives, and Florida currently holds 28 of the 435 seats.10Florida Senate. 2022-2032 Florida Congressional Districts Map The Florida Legislature draws the map through the regular legislative process, with the governor able to approve or veto.
State rules are unusually tight. Florida’s Fair Districts Amendments, added to the state constitution in 2010, bar drawing lines with intent to favor or disfavor a political party or incumbent and require districts to be contiguous, compact, and as equal in population as practicable.11Florida Department of State Division of Elections. The current 10th District boundaries, drawn after the 2020 census, are set to remain in place through the 2030 election cycle. The next redraw will follow the 2030 census.
