Harris County Probation Office Phone Numbers by Location

The Harris County probation office phone number is (832) 927-8500. That one line reaches the central call center for the Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD), which handles general questions, identifies your assigned Community Supervision Officer, and routes calls to any of the four regional offices. If you’d rather write, the department also takes email at Generalquestions@csc.hctx.net.1Harris County Community Supervision & Corrections Department. Older Numbers You May Still See Online

Numbers like 713-755-2700 and the individual seven-digit lines that used to ring branches in Atascocita, Humble, or North Houston are out of date. Harris County CSCD consolidated its phone system so every location, main office and regional branches alike, uses (832) 927-8500. Calling an older number may reach a disconnected line or an unrelated county department, so update anything in your contacts that predates the change.1Harris County Community Supervision & Corrections Department. Office Hours by Location

Hours differ across the five offices. Some branches don’t take in-person officer visits on Fridays, and urinalysis testing days vary as well.2Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department. Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department – Branch Offices

What to Have Ready Before You Call

When you dial (832) 927-8500, the call center will need identifying details to pull up your file. Have these in front of you:

  • Your SPN (System Person Number): the department’s main identifier for your case, printed on your intake paperwork.
  • Your full legal name as it appears in court records.
  • A callback phone number and email address in case staff need to reach you.

The department’s site specifically asks callers to give their name, SPN, phone number, and email address.1Harris County Community Supervision & Corrections Department. Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department If you’ve lost your SPN, give your full name and date of birth and staff can search manually. Expect a return call on non-emergency questions within one to two business days.

Pretrial Services Uses Different Numbers

Harris County Pretrial Services is a separate department. If your case hasn’t been resolved yet and you’re on pretrial supervision rather than post-conviction probation, CSCD isn’t your office and (832) 927-8500 isn’t your number. Pretrial contacts are:3Harris County Pretrial Services. Harris County Pretrial Services – Office Locations

Paying and Reporting Without a Phone Call

Some things don’t require the call center. Court costs, supervision fees, restitution, and fines run through the Business Office at the main location on the third floor, open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The North Region also lists a direct payment line at 346-286-5103.2Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department. You can pay by credit card online at paycscd.com any time of day, or mail payments using the written instructions on the CSCD website. For check-ins, CSCD uses an online portal called Case Connect at cssreporting.com; your officer will tell you whether you’re approved to report remotely or whether you need to appear in person.1Harris County Community Supervision & Corrections Department.
