YouTuber JiDion, whose real name is Jidon Armani Adams, has a JiDion warrant out of Harris County, Texas, issued in April 2023 for misdemeanor criminal trespassing after he and a collaborator disrupted a University of Houston classroom. He was separately arrested in Woodhaven, Michigan, in June 2026 and charged with misdemeanor breach of peace and stalking after livestreaming a confrontation tied to an alleged home squatter.
The Texas Trespassing Warrant
The warrant traces back to February 13, 2023. Adams and fellow YouTuber Damilola Emanuel Onakoya, who goes by “Damii,” entered a lecture in Farish Hall at the University of Houston with several people carrying cameras. According to a probable cause affidavit, Onakoya walked in with balloons, flowers, and a stuffed bear, told the female professor he loved her, and staged an argument with Adams. When the professor ordered them out and threatened to call security, they refused. Adams told the professor to call security on a deaf student who was signing with an interpreter, claiming the student was “throwing up gang signs.” The professor said the interpreter was actually signing “danger.”2Houston Chronicle. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office charged both men with misdemeanor criminal trespassing on behalf of the University of Houston Police Department, and arrest warrants were issued for each. Under Texas Penal Code § 30.05, criminal trespass is generally a Class B misdemeanor, though trespassing at an institution of higher education can be elevated to a Class A misdemeanor when the offender has a prior conviction for a similar offense at such an institution.3FindLaw. This was not Adams’s first trespassing charge in Harris County. Court records showed he had been charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing in November 2021 and again in March 2023; both were dismissed. How Adams Responded to the Houston Warrant
Adams learned of the warrant on April 10, 2023, and posted about it on Twitter: “I just got a call that I have a warrant for my arrest in houston.” When a follower suggested he avoid Houston, he replied, “That’s where I live.”4MySanAntonio. The next day, rather than turning himself in, Adams tagged the Houston Police Department and announced he was back in the city. He drove to an HPD building in Clear Lake and posed for a photo out front holding a sign that read “L+Ratio.” He also posted a picture of a person he identified as his attorney, saying the lawyer told him not to “sweat” the warrant.4MySanAntonio. As of mid-April 2023, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the warrants for Adams and Onakoya remained active and that neither man had been arrested.2Houston Chronicle. YouTuber JiDion Faces Trespass Charge After University of Houston Prank Given that Adams’s two earlier Harris County trespassing charges were both dismissed, and that Texas has a two-year statute of limitations for misdemeanor offenses, the available reporting does not indicate a final resolution of the February 2023 case.
The Woodhaven, Michigan Arrest
On June 22, 2026, Adams was arrested in Woodhaven, Michigan, while livestreaming on Kick. Fellow YouTuber Skeeter Jean had claimed that a relative called “Uncle Joe” was squatting in his grandmother’s Woodhaven home. Jean and Adams tried to resolve the situation by moving Adams into the house, after which the relative left for a nearby McDonald’s at 22172 West Road.5MLive. Woodhaven police responded to the McDonald’s around 3:15 p.m. after management reported a large crowd gathering. Adams and three other people were arrested. Livestream footage captured Adams telling an officer, “I’m a multi-millionaire, I can take this as far as you want,” and warning, “You will be in a deposition, and you will be arrested.”5MLive. Adams was charged with two misdemeanors: one count of breach of peace and one count of stalking. The three other individuals were charged with breach of peace. All four were held overnight at the Woodhaven Police Department and arraigned the next day, June 23, 2026, in 33rd District Court. Adams was released on a $10,000 personal bond, and a pretrial hearing before Judge Michael McNally was scheduled for July 13, 2026. If convicted, he faces up to 93 days in jail on the breach of peace charge and up to one year in jail or a $1,000 fine on the stalking charge. EDP Watch Sting Operations
Adams has not personally been charged in connection with the vigilante group he leads, EDP Watch, but the group’s activities have drawn law enforcement scrutiny that bears on his legal exposure. EDP Watch conducts sting operations modeled after To Catch a Predator, using decoys posing as minors to arrange meetings with suspected sex offenders, then confronting and filming them.
Operations in Oregon led to arrests by Albany and Keizer police, but officers stressed that they conducted their own independent investigations rather than relying on the group’s evidence.
