All Missouri EBT Phone Numbers
Missouri splits card problems and case problems between two different phone lines. Calling the wrong one costs you time.

The 1-800-997-7777 line is automated, so basic account functions like balance checks and PIN changes are available at any time. Reaching a live representative for something more complex, such as a transaction dispute, depends on hold times and agent availability.
What the Card Services Line Handles
Most callers to 1-800-997-7777 are doing one of four things. Checking a balance before a trip to the store is faster than waiting until checkout. Setting or changing your four-digit PIN can be done through the automated system without waiting for a representative.1Missouri Department of Social Services. Food Stamp Program
If your card is lost, stolen, or damaged, this is also the line that deactivates the old card and orders a replacement. And if a charge shows up that you don’t recognize, this is the number to call to open a dispute. The EBT vendor is the only entity that can investigate and resolve debiting errors. Your local Family Support Division office cannot restore benefits taken by a disputed transaction.4Missouri Department of Social Services. 0150.030.00 Card Issuance5Missouri Department of Social Services. 0150.015.30 Procedure to Resolve Debiting Errors
Information To Have Ready Before You Dial
Have your EBT card in front of you. The automated system asks for the card number printed on the front of the card to pull up your account, and it uses that same number to locate your record for a PIN reset.6ebtEDGE. PIN Reset
If you’re ordering a replacement card, confirm that the mailing address on your case is current. Missouri mails new and replacement cards to the address on file, and delivery typically takes five to seven business days. An outdated address means your card goes somewhere you can’t retrieve it.1Missouri Department of Social Services. Food Stamp Program
Reporting a Lost, Stolen, or Compromised Card
Call 1-800-997-7777 as soon as you realize your card is missing or that someone else may have your card information. Ask the system to deactivate the card and send a replacement. Until you deactivate it, anyone with your card number and PIN can drain the balance.7Missouri Department of Social Services. Request New Card
If you believe your benefits were electronically stolen through skimming, cloning, or a phishing scam, calling the vendor is only the first step. Missouri also requires you to complete and submit form IM-111 to the Family Support Division within 10 calendar days of reporting the theft. Your report is considered timely only if it’s filed within 30 calendar days of when the theft happened.8Missouri Department of Social Services. 1150.015.00 SNAP Electronically Stolen Benefits
Replacement of Stolen Benefits Is Limited
Federal funding that let states replace electronically stolen SNAP benefits expired on December 20, 2024. Benefits stolen after that date are not eligible for replacement with federal funds.9Food and Nutrition Service. SNAP Replacement of Stolen Benefits Dashboard
For thefts that occurred between October 1, 2022, and December 20, 2024, Missouri could replace benefits up to two times per federal fiscal year, capped at either the last two months of benefits or the actual loss, whichever was less. If you have an outstanding claim from that window, contact the Family Support Division at 855-373-4636.8Missouri Department of Social Services. 1150.015.00 SNAP Electronically Stolen Benefits
Watch for Phishing Calls and Texts
Missouri and the EBT vendor will never call, text, or email you asking for your card number or PIN. Anyone who does is running a scam. Skimming devices attached to store or ATM card readers are the other common way benefits get stolen, so glance at the reader before you swipe.10Federal Trade Commission. The ebtEDGE App and Website
If you find yourself calling 1-800-997-7777 often just to check your balance, the ebtEDGE app is faster. Listed as the FIS ebtEDGE app in your phone’s app store, it lets you check your balance, view up to a year of transaction history, see upcoming deposit dates, reset your PIN, order a replacement card, and locate nearby SNAP-authorized retailers and ATMs.11Missouri Department of Social Services. The app also has a feature the phone line does not: you can freeze the card between uses and unfreeze it when you’re ready to shop, which shuts down most theft attempts even if your card number leaks. You can log into the same account from a computer at cardholder.ebtedge.com. The app supports fingerprint and facial recognition login for extra security.
When To Use Which Number
The dividing line is simple. If the problem is with the plastic card, the balance, the PIN, or a specific transaction, call 1-800-997-7777. If the problem is with the case behind the card, such as your application status, your eligibility, a change in income or household, or a missing recertification notice, call 855-373-4636. Calling the card vendor about a case question, or the Family Support Division about a disputed charge, only routes you back to the other line.
