The Oklahoma LLC cost starts at $100 to file the Articles of Organization with the Secretary of State, or $104 when you pay by credit card. After that, you owe a $25 annual certificate fee each year on the anniversary of your formation date. Everything else depends on how you run the business.

Costs That Depend on Your Situation
Registered Agent
Oklahoma requires every LLC to maintain a registered agent with a physical street address in the state, available during normal business hours. P.O. boxes do not qualify.6LLCUniversity. Oklahoma LLC Registered Agent
You can be your own registered agent for free if you are an Oklahoma resident with a qualifying address, or a friend or family member can do it. Commercial registered agent services typically charge $100 to $300 per year, and people usually hire one for privacy or to avoid having their home address on the public record.6LLCUniversity. What Oklahoma Doesn’t Charge For
A few costs that trip up new owners in other states don’t apply here.
There is no general business license to start or own a business in Oklahoma.13Oklahoma Department of Commerce. How To Start a Business Licensing is industry-specific, not universal.
Oklahoma eliminated its franchise tax as of tax year 2024, so LLCs no longer owe that annual charge.14Oklahoma.gov. Other Taxes LLCs are generally treated as pass-through entities for state income tax, meaning the business itself does not pay Oklahoma corporate income tax; members report their share on their personal returns.
There is no newspaper publication requirement. Only Arizona, Nebraska, and New York impose one.15TotalLegal. LLC Publication Requirements
First-Year Total
For a single-member LLC with no employees and no special licenses, the bare-minimum first-year cost is around $129: $104 to file plus the $25 annual certificate, with the owner serving as their own registered agent.
Add a commercial registered agent and a sales tax permit and the first-year total runs roughly $250 to $450. Industry licensing, if your trade requires it, is on top of that.
