What Happened Outside OMG Seafood
Arevalo was working outside OMG Seafood in Houston’s MacGregor neighborhood when Marzouk pulled up in a gray Toyota Tundra, according to surveillance video reviewed by investigators. The two exchanged words briefly. Court documents cited by ABC 13 say Marzouk was upset about the noise from the pressure washer.3ABC 13. Jimmy Arevalo co-owned Tony’s Grease Clean, a family business he ran with his brother, Anthony Arevalo, that handled vent hood cleaning and pressure washing for restaurants. Houston Police Department homicide detectives identified Marzouk after reviewing surveillance footage of the shooting and the gray Tundra. On July 31, 2025, the day after the shooting, HPD’s Southwest Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team arrested him and booked him into the Harris County Jail.7City of Houston. Bond and Flight Concerns
A Harris County magistrate set bond at $500,000 at the probable cause hearing, and the 182nd District Court left the amount unchanged at a later hearing. Who Omar Marzouk Is
Marzouk has lived for more than a year in an apartment complex on Grand Corner Drive in Katy, near the Grand Parkway and Interstate 10.9Covering Katy.
