Ouachita Parish Sales Tax: Rates, Exemptions, and Filing

The Ouachita Parish sales tax runs from 10.50% to 13.50% depending on where in the parish the sale takes place. That total combines Louisiana’s 5% state rate with local taxes collected by the parish school board, police jury, sheriff’s office, fire protection districts, and any applicable city or economic development district.
