Completing the Renewal
Sign in to MyDMV, open the non-driver ID renewal transaction, enter your identifying information, choose your validity period, and pay on the secure checkout page. A confirmation page appears right after submission. Save it as a PDF or print it; that’s your proof the renewal went through.
Your Temporary Document and the New Card
After you submit, the DMV provides a printable temporary document that works as interim identification until your card arrives. The permanent card is mailed to the address the DMV has on file.
