A useful report needs a specific street address, not a cross street or a neighborhood name. The form also asks for the date and time. Descriptions of vehicles or people involved help investigators, but the address is what matters. Henderson doesn’t use the ISpyFireworks portal. The city directs residents to call 311 to report illegal fireworks. If you live in Henderson, check with the city’s fire department for current guidance, since processes can change year to year.
What Counts as Illegal
Any firework that leaves the ground or explodes is illegal for consumer use throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Bottle rockets, Roman candles, sky rockets, mortars, and large firecrackers all fall on the illegal side. The only consumer fireworks allowed are devices labeled “Safe and Sane,” which stay on the ground and do not detonate. Even Safe and Sane fireworks are only legal from June 28 through July 4. Penalties Behind a Report
Fines in unincorporated Clark County and the City of Las Vegas start at a minimum of $500.
