What Happened at the Barbershop
At about 1:48 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, Hilton opened fire inside a barbershop on the 2500 block of West Lehigh Avenue in North Philadelphia.2FOX 29 Philadelphia. The Suspect and the Charges
Philadelphia police identified Hilton shortly after the shooting and released his photograph. He is wanted for murder, robbery, violation of the Uniform Firearms Act, and related offenses, and authorities have described him as armed and dangerous.4NBC Philadelphia. Hilton fled after the shooting and has not been apprehended. In July 2024, the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office added him to a public list of nine fugitives wanted for homicides committed in the city since 2018. Who Tiffany Wade Was
Wade worked as a registered nurse for roughly a decade, spending nearly eight years at Hahnemann University Hospital caring for cancer patients.7The Philadelphia Inquirer. Through the business she donated pharmacy cards, gift cards, and free merchandise, and helped families with burial expenses. By early 2014 she had sold about 1,500 t-shirts, largely running the operation out of the trunk of her car while balancing her nursing career and raising her children.
