To book a TN REAL ID appointment, go to the Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security’s locations page on tn.gov and follow the scheduling link to tndscappt.cxmflow.com, where you pick a Driver Service Center, a date, and a time. Appointments are offered at select centers, and customers who book ahead are seen before walk-ins.1Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security. Driver Service Locations and Appointments Since the federal enforcement date passed on May 7, 2025, a REAL ID or another TSA-accepted document is required to board a domestic flight, so getting a slot on the calendar is worth doing sooner rather than later.

Booking Through the State Portal

The appointment system is separate from the e-Services portal used for renewals and duplicates. From the locations and appointments page, select the scheduling link, which opens the booking tool at tndscappt.cxmflow.com. You choose a Driver Service Center, pick an open date from the calendar, and lock in a time.1Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security. Driver Service Locations and Appointments

Once you confirm, a confirmation email or text arrives with a unique number. Keep it. Check-in at the center references that number. Not every location offers appointments, and the appointment types available vary, so you may need to look at a couple of nearby centers before you find a workable slot.1Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security.
