Utah Change of Address: Who to Notify When You Move

A Utah change of address starts a 10-day clock with three agencies: the Driver License Division, the Division of Motor Vehicles, and, for non-citizens, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.1Utah Legislature. Utah Code 53-3-216 – Change of Address — Duty of Licensee to Notify Division Within 10 Days — Change of Name — Proof Necessary — Method of Giving Notice by Division Beyond those, you’ll also want to update the U.S. Postal Service, your voter registration, the Utah State Tax Commission, the IRS, and the Social Security Administration if you receive benefits. Skipping any of these can mean missed refunds, lost ballots, late immigration notices, or an infraction on your record.

Start With USPS Mail Forwarding
